Playing the right way, never gets you calls. Giannis and Harden are basically modern Shaqs, who have taken it to the point that refs either call an call offensive foul for their reckless play half the time and foul them out by the 4th quarter or just ignore it most of the time. Honestly it´s the reason Giannis is crap in FIBA. You can´t just run into a space, when it´s not there.  Other players have a right to their own space, too. Players like Luka or even Monta Ellis on the other hand always try to avoid the contact and move around players, which gives refs an excuse to call nothing.

Staying on the positive side of things, DFS played a nice half.  Luka is the best player in this game.

KPs defense was atrocious. We are back to the usual. One pick. Switch. Missmatch. Layup.
Every single time THJ and KP are involved but the rest of the team obviously needs to help. Problem is that Maxi is the only Mavs player that even tries to play help defense at the rim.
To sum it up. Bad individual defenders in a worse defensive scheme are a good way to make Brook Lopez look like prime Shaq.
