Minnesota is flagrantly tanking. We better win this one

Hope Luka's hand is okay. He didn't have any splint in his birthday videos which is a good sign.

More than likely he sits for this one. Which means KP and everyone else needs to step it up big time.

I think it might actually be better to rest Luka tonight and KP tomorrow. I would hate to watch another Luka and KP less game.

They may be out, but at least got to see both Luka and Brunson shooting around

I hope JJB runs the offense and does not try to become the offense.

Love to see Luka play as much as possible but he needs to give that hand a rest (probably doesn't "hurt" to rest the ankle either)

Wright is starting.

This will be a big audition for Wright. Starting gig and running the offense. Great pass there to KP for the lob.

I can already picture it. Brunson, Luka, WCS, Powell all out. Team short-handed, Carlisle didn´t dress the two way players and complains about tired legs in the 4th again. Okogie + Dieng would have such a nice trade. *sad face*

What a block by KP there!

Also, don't look now but DFS for the month of February is back down to his career average of 26.7% from 3.

Another great block by KP!

There is zero rim defense from Minny. Mavs should just keep driving the entire game.

Getting the calls, the loose balls and Minny can't shoot.  Great start.

Nice boxscore. Everybody has two points. All the Mavs starters and Minnesota, too.

It´s like KAT is playing. Also Juancho´s audition is not going well.

No layups so far. KP is blocking everything.

Was the same story in the last two seasons. 36% pre all star in 2018. 28% post. In 2019 it was 38% pre and 22% post allstar.

I don't like this justin jackson sub. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Also doesn't bode well that MKG is behind Justin Jackson in the rotation.

Holy moly what a pullup jumper from KP

AND THEN KP WITH THE DEEP 3!

Mavs were tanking. Dorian stepped up, unlike that bum Mejri hitting game winners. Big Grin

Only issue is that the Mavs are definitely not tanking this year, and DFS didn't seem to get the memo.

Missing Powell. He turned into a 40% + 3-point shooter in march and april in the last two seasons.
