Not sure this is actually an upgrade for MIA
Guess we'll see if they can do anything with the capspace this summer

Did the Grizzlies really take about 50 Million next year for Winslow?
Is he that good?

He is young, has upside and on a decent contract. But taking 30 mil of bad salaries while also giving Iggy, a good rotation player and an expiring is huge. This is KP price without the picks. Waiters is such poison they plan to waive his 2 year contract. Then they doubled down by trading the decent 3-D wing on a bloated contract for your back-up to be center on even higher contract withou taking draft compensation. Not good moves imho.

Speaking of Iggy - a No-show to Memphis and worth 30 Mio to the Heat.
They shipped out the Waiters error and took  a new one for next year.
I can see why we didn't make a deal. Nobody cares about cap at this time. lol

Only next year is guaranteed, so 15 mil. Iggy might not be his old self anymore, but he is certainly not the locker room cancer Waiters was.

We didn't make a deal, because we don't have bad contracts to get rid of and Iggy would not make us contenders. It would be just a waste of assets.

Well, there went our pipedream of Lee plus GSW 2nd-rounder for Iggy. I ain't even mad...

Can't believe the Heat got rid of that Waiters contract without having to sweeten it with a 1st.
