Harrison says 6 Mavericks players took Flagg out to dinner his second night here. During a workout, Harrison asked PJ Washington if he could play with Flagg.

“Oh, yeah,” Washington said. Adds Harrison: “There’s no jealousy.”

Asking PJ if he thinks he can play next to the no-brainer #1 pick...what exactly do you expect the answer to be?

Nico Harrison is “super confident” that the Mavericks will have their choice when it comes to signing a guard in free agency to help fill in while Kyrie Irving is out.

He says many players want to play for the Mavs.

Ah yes, fortune favored brave Nico and his bold decisions, thank goodness he's here to help deliver that number 1 pick for the Mavs.

I'm admittedly biased against him, so maybe this  irritated me more than it should have, but it's not that hard to say something like "ha ha, well Dallas has never moved up before, so odds are we had to at some point" or something along those lines where it doesn't sound like the number 1 pick arrived as some karmic reward for Nico.

For a "relationship" guy he really struggles with the "public" relationship.

Kudos to everyone who can stomach a press conference with this guy. Personally I am not able to do so. He is still the worst that has ever happened to this organization and should be run out of town.

LOVED the fire Nico chants in the AAC during the watch party. He is not and will never again be an accepted part of the organization going forward.

And to be quite frank it‘s very unfortunate for the players (also Flagg) that they will have to play under this dynamic going forward.

I thought the same. Now I don't expect the GM to be completely clued into social media in regards to the fan base.... but doesn't he have assistants that can tell him which way the wind is blowing? The Knicks media people have been posting "there's still a chance" stuff for three weeks!

Who cares what the Knicks media says? I'm with Nico on this one. There's a lot not to like about him, but this questionable outrage about Nico and not shutting down Kidd rumors has gotten out of hand. It has been shut down; people just seem to be hearing what they want, or not listening, or whatever it is. Very odd!
