I hope this is a boring game. It should be.

I also hope all 12 eligible Mavericks each get a dunk right in Kozma's stupid face.

DAL should be able to use this game and the TOR game as scrimmages to get ready for OKC on Tuesday. I just hope they don't play down to the opposition.

The 3 best regular season teams we’ve ever seen:

1995-96 Bulls: 87.8 Win%, +13.4 Net

2015-16 Warriors: 89.0 Win%, +10.6 Net

2024-25 WAS opponents : 89.5 Win%, +15.0 Net

Mavs have to come out and set the tone. This Wizards team is bad, but they’re still NBA players.

Mavs ever say what type of Illness Marshall has? Was he on the bench last game?

Forgot Bey was in Washington rehabbing. Sort of sneaky gamble. Solid player if healthy and in right spot. Just hasn't been able to shoot as most expected.

Hardy for Bey?

Marshall was on the bench, yes. I have no idea about the illness, however.

I assume Bey is WAS's buy-low shot at potentially replacing Kuzma, who they'd be moronic not to want rid of. Not saying he's untouchable, but I wouldn't assume he's overly available. I bet Kuzma gets traded at this deadline finally, though. Not to the Mavs, thank goodness.

So Gortman, Edwards and Williams playing against the G-Leaguers tonight? Who are the two other Mavs starters?

Marshall has an upper respiratory illness according to the Mavs broadcast.

They must be sure he can‘t infect anyone - he was sitting on the bench against Memphis. Strange that everybody else missed one or two days at most and he‘s out much longer.

I didn't even know the G-league started yet.   One thing you can always count on is the Mavs having a bad G-league team.  Just looked at the record and the G-league Mavs are 2-7.

Prolly should have Omax in the G league as well.

I heard pneumonia on a podcast. I'm assuming if it's bacterial you're not contagious if you don't have a fever. Maybe that's why it's safe to be on the bench.

I like Klay’s defense. I hate his shot selection.

If the Mavs win every quarter by 9, I’ll call it a success. Boring game really. Mavs playing with their food. Low intensity.
