GAME 34: BRK (16-17) @ DAL (22-12) | 123-111 win

WTH, Mavs?  Powell is not a three point shooter, and DFS is not great either. Get the ball to JJ or JJB.

Nice effort from the coaches to make some changes but can we please go back to the things that worked all season long.

Thankfully. Maxi in!

Does Luka have a mid-range jumper? Seems teams leave him open at the free throw line by sinking off him and he is not taking the wide open shots he´s given.

JJB, Doncic and Jackson should never be on the floor together. Nets will score every single time and if they don´t score they get the offensive rebound because the biggest Mav on the floor is either Maxi or Dwight.

Bench JJB. For all the good things he can do on defense it is not possible to play any kind of defense with him on the floor.

Lee in, which indicates Rick disrespects the Nets.

Who else should he play? No THJ, no Broekhoff and the Mavs desperately need some wing sized players on defense.

Timeouts, btw, are a great time to go spam vote for the ASG.  Remember today is a 2-for-1 voting day!

just started watching and man as someone who went from liking barea in 2009 to hating him in 2010- most of 2011 except the playoffs.... the guy is good. If brunson could turn into him....

Mavericks are sorely missing KPs interior defense. KPs offense maybe lacking but his defense and rebounding has been key for the Mavericks. These last two games have shown it.

Finally a bigger lineup and the Mavs take the lead. It´s not Powell or Kleber. Play both. And bring Bobi of the bench.

Bobi breaks up a shot already

Really satisfying to watch Boban easily grab offensive rebounds over DAJ.

I dont know why we go away from this. Bigger lineups don't have to expend as much energy to generate offense and can hold their own defensively/on the boards Size advantage is crucial in basketball.

Play your tallest skilled players the most and you give yourself the best chance. Both Mav teams that went to the finals played legit or close to legit size players at starter minutes. Kidd/Brewer/Stevenson/Butler/Matrix/Dirk/Haywood/Chandler/Peja,even Cardinal. Only JET and Barea were liabilities and not even because they made u work.

Howard/Griffin/Damp/Diop lol/ Stackhouse, Harris/Dirk. No team has won a championship that i know of playing a 3 guard rotation where the 3 is 6-5 or smaller and both 1-2 guards are under 6-4. It doesn't work!

I know we dont have KP and THJ tonight but anytime we play brunson with curry and delon.... its a setup for failure unless the launched 3s are falling.
