I think the Suns made the same mistake when trading for KD, as KD's Nets did when trading for Harden. Both teams shouldn't have given up the farm for a 3rd star. Common denominator on both trades is KD.

IMO, the crushing trade for them was Beale.  The KD/Booker/Beale redundancy is immense, meanwhile PG and C has been meh at best.  Tyus fills one whole, actually pretty well.

Yeah, they still aren’t good enough but them getting Tyus for nothing really sucks. I really thought they were a sinking ship but they have salvaged things for one more push. They basically gave up nothing for Beal, Tyus and O’Neale. Nurk and Grayson Allen for Ayton was a win for them.
