Game 80: Dallas Mavericks (49-30) vs. Miami Heat (44-35)
#21
20 consecutive FGs from Gafford. Probably not enough games left to get within range of the record though.

Isn't "contact initially" a foul?

True. Mavs seem to keep pushing the rock and not taking the foot of the gas, whereas the Heat most of the time only look like they are only trying but simply can't get through.

Fun game to watch.

Box score for Maxi at halftime shows almost nothing. But he was all over the place, making tons of plays. Weird.

Jimmy Buckets is awful quiet. He's not even being aggressive like he usually is.

Isn't that the typical Maxi game?

Getting trigger happy from 3 for no reason. 3vs1 fastbreak and they go for the three instead of the layup.

What is up with these 3rd quarter lulls? Maybe the 2nd team guys should play this quarter.

Yep. Feel the same way about Green. Nice to have him back!

25 pt leads are the new 12 pt leads. Mavs need to keep the pedal to the metal.

JKidd is still infuriating. Mavs are playing a line-up pre-trade and the Heat are having height mismatches on their side and in O the Mavs are just merely taking 3s for offense. That 3rd quarter is classic Kidd.

FG% dropped, but this is not unexpected in a b2b game. Also maybe Luka is shooting a little more than needed to help his MVP chances...

Mavs have a defense now. Very impressive.

Good...play Luka and Kyrie the entire 4th quarter. This SHOULD be their last game of the season and they can sit out the next 8-9 days.
