Just looked it up. Post allstar break (post trades) the Mavs rank 29t in catch and shoot 3PA. 24th in catch and shoot 3-point percentage.

Fun first half. Feels a bit like a playoff game. 14 fouls to 6 is tough. Mavs will need to start making some open 3’s. 4-17 (23%) overall won’t cut it against the best team in the league.

Not sure if it is a rookie thing because Jokic is doing this to DPOY caliber bigs but Lively is falling for the bait. Jokic is patient. Gets deep into the paint. And just waits for Lively to come over and help. One step in the wrong direction. One moment where he isn't aware of Gordon and it is game over.

It's ugly right now, but I think it's the right call. If they can't get him going this is all academic, anyway. Given the rotation Kidd seems to want to employ, Washington simply must make himself a shooting threat.

Yeah, and I promise I have seem him shoot in Charlotte. Well! Like, deadly, lethally well. 

I don't think there's any remedy but to keep getting him looks and hope he gets right, because to your point, he has been the ultimate defender/glue guy since coming here.
