No word yet.

I highly doubt he plays though.

Luka Dončić (left hamstring soreness) did not travel with the Mavericks to Oklahoma City and will not play tonight, league sources tell

Welp. Hope Kai doesn't get injured trying to pick up the slack.

It's the result of a long season winding down. Plenty of nagging injuries as Steph and Green were out last night. Rest Luka up, for the stretch run.

Big news that Exum and Maxi will be available for the b2b. I was worried about that as much as the Luka news.

Dallas Mavericks Injury Report vs. Oklahoma City Thunder:

Luka Doncic - out (left hamstring soreness)
Olivier-Maxence Prosper - out (G League)
Brandon Williams - out (left wrist sprain)
Alex Fudge - out (G League)
Greg Brown III - out (G League)

So who plays a lot more minutes without Luka tonight? The 4 game win streak minutes avg:

Kyrie 32 | Exum 20
Luka 36 | THJ 17
DJJ 16 | Green 23
PJW 29 | Maxi 15
Gafford 24 | Lively 21

Number don’t add up to 48 perfectly but that’s been the rotation. Taking a guess, without Luka, I see Green and DJJ jumping back up. Green has been around 30 mpg the last two months and DJJ around 26 mpg before the trades. Maybe Hardy gets some run, if not I see THJ bumping back up to 25-26 minutes. Exum is capped below 25.

Kyrie 36 | Exum 12
Green 32 | THJ 8 | Hardy 8
DJJ 26 | Exum 12 | THJ 10
PJW 32 | Maxi 16
Gafford 24 | Lively 24

I’m really looking forward to seeing what PJW looks like as the second scoring option. Big game for him to show more of his offensive versatility.

Pretty sure we will see some Hardy and THJ earlier than he has been lately. Also, more Green. I thought Green was low-key pretty great defensively last night and over the last few.

Would love to see Hardy tonight I just don’t trust Kidd. He probably thinks he needs Tim for offense without Luka.

Green has looked much better the past few games. I pointed out a couple games ago that he’s positioning himself to get over the screen much earlier and doing a better job anticipating it. He was definitely coached up some recently.

Our centers need to dominate OKCs non physical centers.

Any chance for an upset with a great defensive performance?

The Mavs are shooting 39-of-133 (29.3 percent) from three during the current four game winning streak.

Tonight would be a great time for some reversion to the mean.

Probably poorly. He´s a midrange specialists shooting way too many 3s at the moment. They need to find 3-4 plays for him.

39/61 from 2pt range
22/76 from 3pt range

He gives us exactly what we need, a mid-range scorer, that can put it on the floor, but he takes way too many 3s. But damn if he ever learns to shoot the 3pt at something like 38%, he´ll be a special two way player.

Incoming 35 point game from THJ or he goes 3/16 from the field

Perfect time to give Timmy some run. With no Luka we are very likely going to lose. A crazy Timmy game is prolly our best chance

Depends on how good we can defend without our weakest defensive link in Luka. We haven’t played a game with Gafford and Washington and without Doncic yet, have we?

Mavs are 3-2 with Kyrie and no Luka.

Those wins were against: Portland, Knicks, Pelicans

Losses against: MEM, Pelicans

2 of those were very quality wins. Kyrie put up 44 and 10 against the Knicks, and 42/7/7 against the Pelicans.

We probably need something like that tonight to even have a remote chance. The fact it's the 2nd night of a back to back makes it even harder.

Well, if their last matchup was any indication, that's EXACTLY what to expect.
