Game 62: Indiana Pacers (34-28) vs. Dallas Mavericks (34-27)

Luka’s frustration costs the Mavs another 2 points. Dude needs to mature.

Balll movement is so good for Indy. Dallas offense is just stand alone watching isolation. If Luka is not in a heater the offense just dries up.

Luka needs to be better to. Is this how he wants to play? At end of the quarter, he missed layup, had a turnover, bad fouls that led to free throws and then step back three. Not a strong finish.

This is a big problem. New coach needs to come in and demand things. New offensive philosophy that revolves around sharing the ball

Luka ball as our main offense needs to die and I’m not sure how well he will take it

Clearly, the one semi decent Luka season was due to Brunson’s leadership. The team has just looked disorganized for two straight years. It’s a good roster but leadership isn’t there nor is the coaching. This is embarrassing for the Mavs. It’s not just this season, I think the entire viability of the franchise is on the brink. The only possible help would be to clean out the coaching staff tonight.

The Luka/Gafford pick and roll looks great this quarter, but Gafford has literally not a chance in hell at sticking with Toppin.

Kidd should seriously be fired and would be if this was a serious organization.

Brunson really has a future in coaching
he must have been the defacto coach on that run

Tell you what doesn’t work is Kyrie Irving. Guy is easily the worst defender I can remember

No strategy. Just play Luka for the full second half and hope something magic happens. Next up is an injury due to overuse. Feel like I am living Groundhog Day from last year.

It's ironic that Kidd was one of the best defensive PG's ever, but he can't teach it to his players.

Well the best center tonight is definitely Gafford. Him and PJ are about the only two bright spots on the night.

Fourth straight 30 point triple double for Luka. Kidd should be fired tonight!

This team is embarrassing themselves at this point. It's a shame as talented as the team is now and they are healthy finally. It doesn't seem like they take any pride in their effort or defense.

It’s such a ridiculous franchise. Can’t win with bad players of course. Can’t win with good players. No scheme. No accountability. Just roll the ball out and let Luka freelance.

Rick is such a good coach. How he has the role players playing is a breath of fresh air. They all know there roles.

It's over...Luka needs to just tell the Mavs that he wants to rest for the Olympics and sit out the last month with an "injury"
