Despite Detroits bad score, this will be a tough match-up for Dallas. Would be good if they could bounce back

How did Detroit get picked to be the home team? Just wondering.

Detroit teams tend to get the short end of the stick in sports (in the NFL the Lions get screwed more than any team). I'm guessing that means they're the team that lost an actual home game on the schedule for this one while we actually have 41 home games

We need to be ready for this one though, our schedule really ramps up after this game so a win here would be nice

Weirdly enough the Pistons lead the league in 3P%. Maybe Drummond and Griffin aren't the only thing to worry about in this one

IGT already said it, but as always, must win game.

Why the Mavs will win:
- The game is in Mexico and Barea, KP, and Luka all speak Spanish which is probably more than the number of Spanish speaking Pistons .

Why the Mavs will lose:
- Detroit will be pumped playing in front of the "home" crowd

I feel like tonight is going to be a very tough game. Hope I'm wrong considering this upcoming stretch of games, but the Mavs can't underestimate the Pistons.

Pistons might be a little better than their record suggests. They're 6-6 since Griffin returned despite him mightily struggling. No Reggie Jackson either.

Plus, they got some momentum going into this game, winners in 4 out of 5, the latest being a huge DRose game winner.

Neutral site. Drummond/Griffin is a super tough match-up. Who knows but looks to be a fun one.

This is surprising. Took a look at some of their numbers and I am surprised to see Kennard averaging 16 per game along with 4 apg and 3 rpg. Looks like he's shaping up into a solid player.

Hield got a ton of open looks last game, we can't let Kennard get those same opportunities when we already have our hands full with Griffin/Drummond.

I'm telling y'all, any game with the current roster in which Wright isn't available is going to be a handful.

Yes, that second unit looked really anemic compared to how it has looked with Wright.

Because he can get 20 boards or more, anytime he can stay on the floor.  I suspect Boban will get some minutes, to try to help keep him off the boards. Powell  won't,  maybe Kleber can fair better.

I hear you, but perhaps if the Mavs can shoot straight tonight, there won't be so many rebound to get!

Drummond will play.  Teams can't stand losing to the Mavs.

Haha no worries! I was planning on stopping since the win streak while doing it was snapped, but your post inspired me to keep it going.
