I kind of like having a pin for the following:
NBA Draft
Trade Ideas
Free Agency
Mav's News
NBA News
I don't think the issue is with these pins, I think it is more about how they are used (conversations about the wrong thing in the wrong thread). The Mod's do a pretty good job of creating unpinned (or Short Term pinned) threads if the news is big enough to warrant.
With that said, I can't help but notice how many former posters have moved heavily or exclusively to Discord. Is it the format or is it they got tired of our crap? If the former, is there is 'super-pin' above the others that could replicate the format? I've read that thread is more of a stream of consciousness. Maybe there is a word limit in that thread. Just quick hitting thoughts and posts of pertinent news/tweets.
