Murray might have spilled some beans regarding Bruce Brown.

Well good. Was always highly unlikely. He´ll sign a 1+1 player option, then enter free agency next year and get paid by the Nuggets. Cap will probably increase a lot again to easily make up for the difference.

Or like a lot of players he's just detached from the money side and doesn't even know that the most the Nuggets can offer Brown is like $7.8 mil.

They can sign Kyrie and one more big time free agent like Kuzma or Dillon Brooks.

Add them to Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Sengun, Porter Jr., Amen Thompson, Whitmore, Eason.

Thats a scary athletic team. Especially with Udoka as coach. Personal issues aside, he's respected in his locker room.

One amendment here.  Houston probably needs to move on from Porter Jr’s $15mm if they are to bring in FVV or Irving and a second guy of Kuzma’s stature.  I don’t think $61mm of space gets both done.  I suspect $76mm of space does.  I don’t think it would be that difficult.

Would love to take Garuba in some kind of deal.  I really like his game.  He may never hit, but there is a ton to like there if he does.

This might be our guy. Plenty of rumors about him in the past, young, fits a position of need. Wouldn’t mind him as a reclamation project.

i've liked Garuba the few times i've seen him on the court.

i don't hate Porter Jr. either. Still only 23 years old. He's miscast in Houston as a starter and #2 option.  He'd be killer in a 6th man role on a contender. Very similar to Jordan Clarkson or the good version of Jordan Poole.

Top 100 NBA trade value rankings.

Not impressed with this list.  Has John Collins (who was just given away) higher than Jarrett Allen.  There are a ton of WTF, but that one stood out to me. Also has Poole in the top 100 after admitting GS had to send out a first to dump him. No idea why he would be on the list if he is a negative asset.

We’d finally get our pick back from the Luka trade!

He wound up being the 10th pick Dallas gave up in the Luka/Trae Young trade.

Can never figure out if the Mavs are linked to him because he was drafted with the Luka/Trae pick or if they have real interest. But it feels like it has been a story in every single offseason since he was drafted.

On top of all that, no Kyrie at all.

Maybe for vet min?  He has not been good and shown little growth in 4 years.  He is very inefficient offensively and not a particularly good defender.

Houston now a favorite for Kuz and HBarnes could be headed back to Sacramento (which means Indy is still in the market competing for a big wing/PF type.

Might not be FVV/Brooks in Houston.  Might be FVV/Kuzma.  As I predicted weeks ago, easy for Houston to move KPJ's $15mm and bring in two big time FA's with about $76mm of space.

Wood to Miami thing is interesting.  There is talk of them S/Wing Lowry to create room to sign Vincent and Strus.  Vincent would be the priority.  But they will be right back at the apron if all they do is Vincent.  If Wood is to make more than some minimum exception, Dallas would have to take something back.  I don't see a lot of spare wing defenders just laying around on Miami's roster.

SnT hard caps Miami. Even if they stretch Lowry or even dump him to a cap space team, they would have exremely big troubles staying under the apron while extending Vincent and Strus. I guess we could talk some asset back if we would be eating Oladipo contract, but who wants that. I doubt anyone will move mountains to get Wood, so best outcome imho is a second rounder for our troubles. Most realistically, Wood signs for exception money.

Honestly now thinking about it, Prince would be a fantastic pickup for the MLE.

With the Hawks and Brooklyn he was a 12ppg guy with near 40% 3pt shooting. He could very easily be the DFS replacement were searching for and he's only 28.

Plus, he has some history with Kyrie. He was on Brooklyn in 2019-20 and 2020-21 with him.

Ya he would certainly be a good stop gap solution while we develop OMax.  He's also a Texas guy so maybe that's why he's liking all those MFFL posts.

Do you think he's a full MLE guy?
