This team is bad an all but this game was won until Luka missed a free throw, put Kuzma on the line and then turned the ball over.   This one is on him.  Maybe he'll consider working on his free throw shooting in the offseason.

I refuse to blame Luka here. Yes, he missed a ft but other players have to help him win a game too once in a while. If only we had Brunson instead of THJ out there..

What an idiot. Luka scored 41 points on 29 shots and had 15 boards. Someone else can do something on this team. Blaming Luka after a great performance is outrageous.

Luka also made the previous basket to cut the lead to 1 and had that defensive stop on Beal (with Dodo).

He did not play a perfect game, but who can? Not everyone can be Josh Green.

There are 48 minutes in a game.  His last minute wasn't very good.   He also got great contributions and efficiency from Powell (22), Green (16) and Dorian (12) so someone else did do something.  Turning a blind eye to blowing it at the end just because he stuffed the stat sheet is idiotic.  Want to give him a pass on the Kuzma foul?  Fine.  Want to give him a pass on the turnover?  Fine.  No one should give him a pass on blowing free throws.  He's way too talented for that.

As currently constructed this team has looked like a .500 team all year. The won 7 in a row, largely against bottom feeders, and now are coming back to the mean.  Unless something major happens, they will be up and down the rest of the year and end up around .500. 

Too many one dimensional players and no depth and wasted roster spots means they can't absorb any injuries at all. 

NYK will enjoy the decent draft pick along with having taken our second best player. Feels normal to get fleeced by Danny Ainge, but NYK? Oof.

It doesn’t get much dumber than to blame the high efficiency 40 plus point scorer who seems to be the only guy who can rebound. Let’s focus where the problems are instead of blaming the one guy putting the team on his back. Luka didn’t lose this game.

How did the Wiz get 41 free throw attempts on our court? Are these refs with a history of screwing with the Mavs? Or did we play an uber-aggressive brand of D? That’s a crazy number of FTAs.
