When Kidd starts Powell again tonight how mad do you guys think Wood will be?

Teams already getting a script. I expect Brown and Smart to go down before tomorrows game and Mavs to lose in an overtime Smile

Expect to see A LOT of DFS, Bullock, and THJ. Maybe even a season-high in minutes. DFS/Bullock for their defense on Tatum/Brown and THJ for his "instant offense" to make the Celtics work on defense!

It’s been a different path, but last year the Mavs were also 9-7 at this point. They won that game to go to 10-7. If this years team wants to hold serve, it’s a must win game.

Kidd after the game:

“Dwight was playing great so Wood needs to be unselfish and OK with his 15 minutes.”

Dwight: 4 points, 2 boards in 25 minutes
"The Dallas Mavericks must do everything they can to get Olivier-Maxence Prosper."

Are we seeing the real Jason Kidd? He was so good last season.. but so far he's been making bad decisions. I still can't believe Powell is starting, man. Frustrating

He's on the bench now in foul trouble. Boston's wings are tough covers.

The Celtics aren't respecting DP at C, so if the Mavs don't have any interior D, might as well go full offense.

Last sequence was a pretty strong case for the coaches point of view when it comes to Wood´s effort and defense.

Rough sequence for Wood

Boston is what a real contender looks like.. Bringing Brogdon and Williams off the bench, such a luxury
And to think they dont even have Robert Williams right now..they are deep

This could be a signature game for Dinwiddie, like Emmitt vs. the Giants.

Sounds harsh but this is exactly what the Mavs need. A good old fashioned ass kicking that ends all delusions of grandeur. Leaving two options. They step up and prove that they have what it takes. Or they have to face the harsh reality that as constructed the team isn´t good enough to compete with the best teams in the league.

On a positive note. The way the rest of the team is playing McGee isn´t looking nearly as bad as he did earlier in the season.

Predictable loss...hopefully the Celtics keep pouring it on so they can rest everyone early. But knowing Kidd, he will still play the usual guys big minutes in a blowout

DFS/Bullock/THJ are giving them nothing again. And this time Green is joining them. They won't beat any team in the league when that happens

Yep, been saying that....on some level it feels like this team NEEDS to lose quite a few games to get a wake up across the board in the organization.
