Honestly for 3-8, you could argue just about any order. McGee is the best true center we've had since TC. I also don't think we will always go with a big lineup. I could still see DFS getting minutes at the 4 with any number of our 4/5 hybrids or McGee getting burn at the 5. We've got a lot of flexibility at the 4/5 and the lineups are going to depend on the matchups.
McGee is really good so don't let his goofball start to his career get in the way. He's been the part of A LOT of winning since his last stint in Dallas.
And to be clear, I don't hate McGee for 15 minutes a game. But in my mind the best lineup with McGee would focus on P&R with Luka and shooters. Something like McGee/Dorian/Bullock/THJ/Luka.
What I don't want is another 15-20 minutes a game of Powell. I would much rather do remaining frontcourt lineups of Maxi/Wood or Wood/Dorian (small ball).
