But, there is no comparison between the amount of energy Jokic uses to create or score vs what Luka needs to do. Denver is playing totally different, with lots of running and cutting of other players, to which Jokic delivers. Dallas is always Luka beating his opponent of the dribble. Just look at Jokic baskets and assists from yesterday game and compare that to any of Luka games.
Jokic assists from yesterday. On most of them he doesn't even need to move.

Thing is that Jokic moves way more without the ball. Looking at the tracking numbers no big in the league is even close to him when it comes to miles per game on offense.
He creates mismatches and easy scoring opportunities before he even touches the ball. Best example is his transition game. In the series against the Lakers he never stopped pushing the pace. With or without the ball. With fresh legs AD is going to beat Jokic to the rim 10/10 times. But with tired legs in the second half of a game he never stood a chance. Couldn´t keep up.
Brings up an interesting question because many people tend to ignore endurance when it comes to athleticism. Is the guy with better quickness/vertical really the better athlet if he cannot keep it up for an entire game/series?
