Alright this confirms it!

Joe Harris + Seth for DP + THJ

Nets' going to call this the Dwight Powell trade.

I thought Wes Matthews was washed five years ago but here he is. Already hit a game winner this season. Right now the Bucks primary defender against KD.

I guess Ben Simmons isn’t a Giannis stopper after all.

Another OT game in NY. Brunson is carrying the team. 21 points. 7 rebounds. 12 assist. 8/13 FG. In 36 minutes.

Almost like he is trying to foul out on purpose. Back in headcase mode.

DSJ vs Brunson matchup and both of them are looking great. As a Mavs fan this one just hurts.

Let's trade a #1 and Green for DSJ.

Mavs have Facu. Cuban would never add another player that might be worth a bigger contract in the future. If you only sign guys like Facu and McGee no one is going to call you cheap because you didn´t extend them. Cuban outsmarting all of us.

I guess some things don´t change. DSJ still cannot make a FT when it matters.

Jazz win again! Please give us them in the 4vs5 matchup in the first round again!

This FO (and their predecessor) really managed to screw up with JB at every possible turn.  They didn’t get one single decision correct with him.

And that’s who is supposed to build a championship roster around Luka??  Yeah, sure, okay.

Still love watching JB play. He was a blast to watch today.

AD hurt on a rebound attempt.

There are more games where he looks hurt than games where he is fine from start to finish. Not even kidding.

Just so frustrating.  Maybe I will be proven wrong and maybe the mavs eventually wind up in a good place.  But it just baffles me some die hard mavs fans watched Jalen play for 4 years and got better each year and exceeded
Expectations all the time outside of one playoff series thought the mavs would not miss him.

I have thought Jalen was underrated for years.  Thought he should have started the previous two years at the begging of the season.

Just really hurts

Ignoring all the LBJ and Westbrook stories for me the most interesting part is AD´s defense getting exposed. Super soft. Feels like I am watching Dwight Powell. He should be dominating in the paint. Should be able to switch onto guards and wings. Instead he is getting pushed around in the paint. Playing lazy defense on the perimeter. Not closing out. Gambling for steals and reaching in instead of moving his feet on the perimeter.

Jokic on the other hand deserves a lot of credit for his improved defense. No flashy highlight blocks. Just fundamentals.  Giving me some Marc Gasol vibes. Perfect positioning and timing on rotations.

Right now I'm just thinking, Brunson didn't learn that pivot, step thru move from Luka. JB would use this against the Mavs at some point. And I feel JB wants Luka to be the recipient of this move.

And Luka Blocks him anyway.  Big Grin

I noticed Jokic's positioning today too.  Gives me hope for Luka who has shown he can do the same thing.

Lakers need shooting bad.
