AROUND the NBA: Amazon & NBA Have Deal for Broadcast Rights| Dame Hurt
Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter: "Phoenix's new majority owner, Mat Ishbia, is fully engaged overseeing the organization and has been aggressive in pursuing ways to make a major and immediate impact. Durant has had past interest in Suns, but so far Nets are telling teams that they have no intention of moving him." / Twitter

Doesn´t sound like an owner that´s moving Ayton for Wood/THJ. Big Grin

More likely Mavs using the Luka/Ayton connection to keep the fuzzy feelings alive for the summer, while putting some pressure on Atlanta, Charlotte...?

None of this seems likely.  My only hope is a desire for a complete reset with this new owner.  If Ayton were traded for air in terms of returning salary (enter Kevin Love), Phoenix only has three fully guaranteed salaries in Booker, Bridges and Shamet.

They are competitive, yes.  But they are flawed.  Ayton is playing poorly on a BIG dollar contract and Paul is old (and obviously from the package they offered Brooklyn not in their plans).  They have all of their picks and might have some Dallas draft capital too if something like this were to go through.

Cam Thomas is on a serious 3 game heater. 44 pts, vs the Wizards,  47 pts, vs the Clippers,  43 pts tonight in a loss vs the Suns. 3 straight 40 pt games. Has this been done before by a 21 year old?

LeBron might just do it tonight. He's 22pts away.

Lebron invited all the family to game tonight. Celebrities everywhere. It’s amazing at 38 he’s still that confident he could go out and get 36 tonight no problem. I know people dislike him but he’s a freak.

He's probably going to score way over 40,000 pts and we thought Kareem's wouldn't be broken. He's playing like he's 28 instead of 38 in his 20th year. He's amazing like him or not.

The Thunder are going to be scary next year when Holmgren comes back. Hell, they're pretty good now. They have bright future.

Broke the record with a Dirk.

Lakers are complete trash on defense.

Just watched that Lakers game.

Holy moly they are a terrible team. No hustle anywhere. Literal layup line for OKC.

Congrats to Lebron on the historic achievement. Westbrook and AD tried their best to lose this one.

I wonder how often Zach Lowe washed his hands after writing that dirty piece about the greatest scorer ever.

Mad he wasn’t in the game?  Something more depressing?  Either way, not a great look.

He’s probably as tired as many of “The Lebron show: Quest to make me look better at all costs”.
