We will see. He has an interesting skill set for a big guy. But Important to remember he averaged 9 points a game in 18 minutes per game as an upperclassman.
Not saying he will not be worthy, but I was hoping for more aggressive pursuit of some of the undrafted players.

Would be nice for them, if they got a player for once.
They once picked Jimmer, Robinson, McLemore, Stauskas, Cauley-Stein, Papagiannis in a row.
That would be a bad return for second round picks let alone six trips to the lottery.
These guys were all picked within the lottery after the Kings pick:
Thompson
Morris twins
Lillard
Barnes
Drummmond
KCP
McCollum
Adams
Saric
Lavine
Warren
Turner
Booker
Sabonis
and Kawhi + Giannis were the 15th picks, when the Kings selected Jimmer and McLemore.

Agreed. Would be kind of hilarious for the Kings to actually break their curse and get a great player for once in the lottery. Every. Single. National. Guy. clowned them for picking Murray over Ivey. They all brought up their mistakes of the past that you highlighted, and said how it parallels to this move.
And I admit, I found it hilarious that the Kings couldn't just pick the best player available by consensus again. But I think it'd be even funnier to see all those national guys go "wait, what?" if they hit on a pick.
Looking forward to seeing more Keegan.

So what is the thoughts of Moses Wright? Legit someone we should spend time developing or just a very good player not quite NBA caliber? Does he give a tad of John Collins in his highlights? It will be interesting to see how he looks in summer league. I have only seen highlights.

Not sure there's much to go on except that he's a late bloomer.
He's really played well recently, and you have to love that body profile. On the downside, I have yet to see him shoot a perimeter shot.

You are right he is a late bloomer. Started playing basketball late. Was a four year college player, but won the ACC player of the year his last year (played with Jose Alvarado).
I would like to see if he is basically an undersized, explosive 5 or does he have some wing ability. May be between those two and that could complicate things.
It looks like he shot 39.5% on 2.8 three attempts per game for the year. When he joined the Texas legends he was 38.9% on 4.5 attempts per game on the G-league website.

I was higher on Omoruyi. In the preseason he looked like a legit rotation player. Better than any two-way signing in the last five years. But it seems like the Mavs moved on. I wonder if will get some regular season minutes for the Thunder. Could be a great opportunity for him.
Wright looks like another gamble on the modern big wing/small ball big body typ. Brings the necessary measurements and athleticism. But I am missing NBA level skills. If I had to guess he is another T.Bey. Enough to put up big numbers in the g-league but not ready for the NBA.

I was also hopeful we would bring him back. He got injured at the worst time....right before the covid callups started. He would have had a great chance to get some exposure. I really thought the Mavs would prioritize bringing him back. I wonder if we had no interest brining him back as a two way or if he found a better opportunity? We will see if we have any plans for our two way spots.
The negative with him is age. He is older. He will be 26 during the season. There is also concerns if he is really a wing or if he is an undersized, not a great leaper 4. I thought he showed really good basketball IQ in his limited run here.

Maybe the Kings finally got it right this time. Murray looked impressive from all levels. It's just one game though.

Hardy's shooting stroke is really beautiful. Very confident in him being an NBA shooter, likely elite IMO.
