Yeah. So Mavs have 2027 left to trade and no second rounders. They still lack the third ballhandler and now need additional wing. Lets see what else they do

Even better, the pick is unprotected Smile

Horrible negotiating but we’re used to it.

Hopefully that means Green starts now and Hardy moves up in the rotation.

No idea how you manage to not unload at least one of THjr/McGee/Bertans if you send out that much value in DFS, Din and multiple picks.

Complete desperation move. I’m somewhat on board with bringing on this lunatic but it’s hilarious how bad they are at negotiating.

Get on the horn to Detroit and let’s send the other unprotected to them for Bojan and Noel

Of course it is. Cuban doesn´t do nuances. That´s why he´ll throw the full four year max at Kyrie with no "games played or behavioural"-clauses, probably player option, too. I mean Cuban just threw away all our final asset, so he cannot even let Kyrie walk. Haha, another brilliant move. He´s now counting on Kyrie Irving to behave and be interested in basketball on a 4 1/2 year contract.

Big Grin Big Grin

I'd be really surprised if this is the only move Dallas makes. All in.

For sure. At least Mcgee should’ve been offloaded

I would actually prefer Vandy from Utah. We need more defense now.

Of course the Nets get to throw in the one old guy on the Nets roster, the Mavs don´t need. Could have asked for Watanbe, who shoots 1000% from 3 pt range, but we gotta have a 4th washed-up PF.

It´s a fucking horrible trade. Unbelievable.

Mavs going all in. Time to get behind this move guys. It's done. They can still make more moves too. This is exciting. Let's be positive. He's our guy now.

If you give them Dinwiddie and DFS, they need to take at least McGee or Bertans with no picks from either side.

This makes the NYK trade even more desirable.

Bullock/Powell/Frank/McGee/FRP
for
Obi/Quickley/Reddish/Fournier

Point - Luka, Quickley
Guard - Irving, Fournier
Guard - Green, THJ, Hardy
Forward - Obi, Reddish
Center - Wood, Maxi

Was also pretty exciting for the Celtics and Nets for about a month. Kyrie Irving was a fucking persona non-grata six months ago. The desperate Lakers didn´t want anything to do with him and we gave up Dorian, a 1st and two 2nds while locking ourselves into Irving on a 4 1/2 year contract. There is not even cap relief. Irving basically holds Cuban hostage now, cause Cuban gave away all his leverage.

If I had asked you to evaluate DFS´s trade value 30 minutes ago (contract and player), you´d have said two firs round picks. So we just traded three firsts and two seconds for Kyrie Irving, a proven team cancer and a moron, so we can lock him into a 4 1/2 deal that has played 150 games over the last four years. Gotta love it. Nets probably cannot believe their luck. Haha.

Mavs could have just kept Brunson, who is a good, young, and reliable player who isn't an open antisemite and conspiracy theorist who misses 75% of games because of mood swings. Instead Cuban does this franchise-destroying trade because he's incapable of building anything competent despite repeatedly being gifted all-time players.
