I have talked about picks #14-16 all potentially being available because CLE, ATL, and CHA don't really need more rookies and want to capitalize on the current parity in the NBA to try and compete. But what is the current value of those picks in the NBA when teams would prefer established players?
What asset do we have that we could trade for one of those picks? You could argue one of those picks is worth more than the package we are talking about offering for Turner (seems like Turner to Charlotte is the mostly likely scenario if he is moving).
The only player asset on our team (other than obviously Luka) that might be worth that is Dorian. I don't even know if we can do that trade after the extension, but I would have no interest in that. Given that we are about to be in the tax, I don't think we are a particularly good candidate to take on another bad contract either.
