Not concerned at all with him being able to score. More concerned about how stagnant the offense looked and how none of the actions the Mavs ran let them get any paint penetration.
I don't buy it either. Luka had 18 at halftime. Then when things went south early in the 3rd he mailed it in hard and took the rest of the game off to save energy for game 2 and not risk aggravating his shoulder further. For some reason Kidd left him in the game for most of the 4th quarter when he probably shouldn't have played him in the 4th at all.
