I posted a synopsis of a conversation about what the price of Paul should be between Hollinger and Nate Duncan.  Hollinger said #10 was a must.  Duncan suggested that was crazy and it would be Ty Jerome instead.  Turns out it was Ty Jerome and a future 1st.  Basically a compromise between the two positions.  I think the board had this pretty close to correct.

I thought of Brunson, but Phoenix has a number of good young-ish backup PG's.  I think DFS is the bigger need.  Maybe a multi-year MLE to DJJ replaces DFS and you draft a guard who can eventually start and be what we hoped to trade for in Kemba/Rubio/Beverley/Dipo.  More young core.  Wright for Green would also be a possibility for replacing DFS if we are still trying to conserve cap space for some reason.

They also have a number of "goodish, youngish" SFs.

I think every Team would take DFS over #18+Brunson just because he has more value, fits everywhere, is laughable cheap. He was around #15 in every redraft in a "better" year. He is what everybody envisions when they want Vassell in the Top10.

This is true for the Mavs too.
We love him. We were never ever in talk about RoCo because of him.
We won´t use him as a throw-in.

If we think #10 is our Kawhi - I can see it. But we won´t add #18 then.
