If Maxi and Bullock don't hit some 3's, this is a loss.

It was Dallas -2.5 when I looked last night. Now it is Utah -1.

Jazz are on a 3 game skid, their season high is 5 consecutive. Lets work on helping them toward reaching that again, must win game.

I guess we fight here for home court advantage in the first round of playoffs which might be against the Jazz. This is a playoff game.

Mavs are getting out-coached badly so far. Gobert isn’t out there fellas.

Mavs are looking like they want to limp into the playoffs.

Other than his three point shot, Luka looks off.

The team D is suffering, especially with Luka playing.

Guys need to get it together, quick.

Isn't there some correlation between the color blue and its influence on juries?  Maybe thats why the Mavs don't get calls.  Its my scientific theory.

I decided to look....

In the last 15 games Luka's On/Off D has -18.8...and his O has been -3.0. The team is +21.8 when he is on the bench in the last 15 games. Crazy. UGH.

Flat and tired. Reminds me a little bit of the small ball Rockets.

Not good.

I do feel like Luka's D has been really poor since the trade....is there a connection with him having to play more of the big man role on D?

Rudy Gay would fit well with our squad

Speaking of tired.....I question whether Luka is in the kind of condition needed to get 8 playoff wins and get to a conference finals, much less the 16 needed for a championship. Really think his conditioning still needs to come a long way. His body has not been able to handle the grind of an NBA season yet.

When Luka is trying he usually is at his best when he defends bigger forwards. He is definitely coasting right now. I think the bigger problem are the wings and bigs. Especially Maxi. He always struggled with minor injuries and starter minutes. Now the Mavs are asking him to do even more.
I still think that the smaller and more switchable lineups are the best option but a couple of minutes from a bigger body or another big wing wouldn´t hurt. Mavs missed an opportunity at the deadline but I am not going to complain. They fixed the biggest problem.

Mav's should go with Chriss for the rest of the game instead of Maxi.
