Are the Spurs drunk? They never make any TDL deals. They make 2 good ones then all of a sudden fall off the deep end.

Even with a first I can't believe Boston got White for Richardson.

It hurts a little less now but will hurt more once Curry starts shooting 70% from 3PT playing with Durant.

I mean if they're planning to move Smart then White would be a good replacement....

Interesting point.  I am not super up to date on his game, but that is a pretty big salary.   Richardson has played pretty well for Boston, but if White can help run the offense and set things up he is a nice fit there.  That is a big team at the wings and backcourt now.    Add Smart off the bench and I like that team.  Probably not contender worthy.  But having Tatum and Brown is a good place to build around.

First round picks are the currency for any move that involves useful players. That´s why the Mavs aren´t even in the conversation when it comes to guys like White.

I will not be surprised if he is traded to Minnesota for Beasley and pick(s).

Excellent move for Boston, imho. White is a very solid starter to have next to stars.

Without knowing much about White, I like the trade for Boston.  It seems like Romeo had fallen out of the rotation, Richardson has played well but is a little redundant, and the first round pick will be around 20ish.  Boston needed a guy who can set things up.   Can White do that?  I also like how they have big guard/wings.  I give this trade two thumbs up.

SA is just re-setting the decks.   I like how they are getting first round picks.  They have a lot of very similar players on a team that is far from being a contender.    I am fine with them as well.

Picks in the Spurs' hands is always a good thing for them.

White is a BEAST. Can't believe how cheap he went, goes to show it's always good to have your 1st available for trades come TDL. Major steal for BOS that now starts Smart, White, Brown, Tatum and Williams. HOLY F THAT'S A GREAT STARTING LINEUP.
