I think he's already slipped. Several mock drafts now have him lower than #26
You're right though, we are outclassed on the front line. By adding Kessler, we will be adding a big, somewhat slow rookie who might struggle to get minutes while learning the system. He's going to struggle when teams go small. My personal feeling is that he's a much bigger gamble than Dalen Terry or Jake LaRivia - both of whom might be there when we pick, and who are strong enough to get good rotation minutes.
I do admit though, I'm gun-shy about giant centers who have specialized skill sets that keep them in the paint.
