Here is where I am falling on the draft:
I am making the assumption we will not be able to trade up. Even if we were able to, I would probably be unwilling to give up the assets to move up.
Here is my ranking at 26:
1) Jaden Hardy- Betting on the skill, not necessarily the fit right now.
2) Jalen Williams- I have trouble seeing him reach 26, but weird things always happen
3) Dalen Terry- Betting on his skillset and future projection
4) Marjon Beauchamp- Probably my least confident choice, but I have liked what I have watched.
I would be fine with Kendall Brown and EJ Liddell at 26, but just have the guys above over them. Brown is another projection and will take time. Liddell is probably the better player than most above, but I just like others better.
I really tried to find a spot for Patrick Baldwin. He is a skilled 6'10 player who is suppose to be an elite shooter. My issue, besides his poor 11 games this year, is I can't feel certain he is indeed an elite shooter. Having history watching him for 2-3 years and working him out may give you a better feel, but I don't have that to go off of.
buy into the second round:
Mavs already have a full roster, but these are guys I would trade up for not taking in effect of roster openings. Just guys I like. I am making an assumption that we will not be able to buy a pick in the top 40. Maybe that is wrong, but just for this I am looking past 40. I haven't watched enough of the foreign centers. If Koloko slips past 40, he would be on my list. I am just not sure he does.
1) JD Davison- He is my blind spot this year. No where close to being ready, but if he is a hard worker, I can see his game really blossoming in the next two years. It would not shock me if he did go back for his Soph season that he would have a jump similar to Arizona's Mathurin.

2) Jaylin Williams- Probably better in the 40 range. He has some athletic shortcomings but is a very smart player and got better as the season went on. Still young.
3) David Roddy- My big asterick here is he needs to lose 15 pounds and get leaner to have a chance to stick.
Payton Watson (no production) and John Butler are right outside this list. Butler is a perfect long range 2 way guy. He is a 7 footer with wing skills. Just really weak and limited production.
Undrafted guys-
1) Kenneth Lofton Jr.- I love fat guys. He already has lost 30 pounds. Needs to lose probably 20-30 more. He has very good footwork despite being severely overweight last year.

2) Moussa Diabate- He is a well put together athlete and someone to gamble on a two way on.
3) Trevion Williams- Really skilled offensive player that shared a role with another big at Purdue. Defense is the concern.
4) Alondes Williams- Like Moses Wright last year, Williams is the ACC player of the year. He may also go undrafted like Moses Wright.
