Incredibly athletic and absolutely can guard 1-5. But his wingspan is only 6'11" and he is weak, so he would probably get bullied a lot as a center. And if he cannot shoot how can you get by playing him anywhere else?
He has multi tools. We saw how our 3 pt guys without great handles were neutralized by GS. We see how teams gang up on Luka. If Minnot’s form is good then not being a great outside shooter at this point is not required. A lot of players develop into a 3D role. If he can guard, dribble, and defend, they should look into him.
The only concern I would have is someone who doesn’t even want to shoot. Dray does that Wiggins too though he was good against us. Josh Green could be a decent player if he had any desire/confidence to score. If Minott is aggressive I can live with him developing a stand still 3 pt shot as he goes along.
