Also he sold us Nico as this special charismatic player recruiter. If you put a mic in front of Nico, I´m falling asleep in 10 seconds. He´s a more boring, emotionless and empty talker than Donnie Nelson ever was, which was the problem Cuban identified in our free agency failures.
In the end Cuban is still failing to recognize the one true issue. Top players judge franchises simply based on their body of work, plans and visions.
The one constant front office figure in this case is usually the owner.
Since Cuban simply refuses to change his approach, so do the top players, when it comes to free agency.
That´s the bottom line.
