I’m not so sure about the meshing with Luka, but that first year I remember a lot more attempts to make KP the focal point when Luka was on the bench. Even if KP and Luka don’t figure s 2 man game out, this could easily be a big part of his improvement on the offensive side, and ultimately on the defensive side too.
