If the Wizards are so generous as to take trash for their stars, we'll give them a pupu platter for Beal. Not one of those players has better than neutral worth.

I would assume that the Westbrook salary takes the Lakers out of the Derozan sweepstakes...

So Sacramento lost badly, I would say. I wonder what their back up plan is.

I am not sure this is a good move for LA. They have traded basically all depth and those three stars are basically puting them at the hard cap on their own, so no SnT is possible. And basically no more assets to do other trades. Unless of course Sacramento really cherish THT and/or Caruso

Totally. Those three guys alone basically put LA at hard cap level. As for value - do you see Westbrook as a positive contract? I think Washington did just fine

Is this even a good move? Westbrick?

When you need shooting?

I rather have KCP tbh.

Lol, what are they thinking?

LeBron must REALLY not want to play PG anymore.

FWIW, I can't see LeBron and RW coexisting peacefully. They are both alphas wherever they play and that is going to lead to some head butting, I predict.

I guess LALs think that now every ring-hunter will come play for beans just to carry bags for AD/LBJ/RW.

Lakers are hoping that "tons of vet mins" includes a few vet mins that can play

Helps them get TO the playoffs without killing LeBron, for sure.

But once they get there, he’ll need the ball. Off-ball Westbrook is an ugly thing to watch.

LeBron won while sharing with Wade. But of course, senator, Westbrook is no Wade

Dang it hurts to say something nice about Wade

The salary level will be significant, and the LAL ways to spend are somewhat restricted, just like with everyone, but (assuming this trade is completed as reported) there is no hard cap on their spending so far. The sky's the limit.

Of course not. We were just discussing they can't bring in a FA like DeRozan (unless he comes for exception money). Current spending is too high to be able to pull something like that and stay below hard cap.

Tbh, I think RW is way better than all the 3 (and the pick) they will gave to Wizards combined.
Maybe there was better fit like Hield, but even him is inferior player to RW

That’s true, actually, and a pretty decent point. IDK, I just kind of expected them to pick a better target.
