I think perhaps the Mavs want to haveitall.
They want Luka to be able to be the guy who scores 30 ppg because he's that good and he won't be able to be stopped when he's got help.
But they also want him to be able to pick apart the defenses and be a lethal paged not be forced to have to score 30 every game.
Basically teams have to pick their poison and Luka dominates you the other way. Every night.
