I read the piece. I don't agree Luka was too good too fast. Mavs had 2019 offseason and max cap space to either add top talent (or any talent at all) or sell it for picks. They did neither. If they didn't screw up that one, they would be legit contenders in this season or would have some assets to improve now. I don't hold the other mistakes after 2019 against them, some times things just don't work out as you think (JRich, Reddick,...).

Graham is a good option, if we can get another solid piece with remaining salary. He would replace THJ shooting and leave roughly half of our 34 mil cap space (assuming JRich is gone in one way or another) to improve the big wing hole we have.
