Barrett 32.7 (caphold)
Randle 25.6
Brunson 25.0
Fournier 18.9
Toppin 6.8 (team option)
Quickley 4.1 (team option)
Grimes 2.3 (team option)
You remove Randle from that equation and you are at $89.8M and I assume Barrett´s caphold is higher than his eventual starting salary. Randle could be the difference between an easy pathway to max capspace and almost no capspace. Plus they eventually have to find out what they have in Toppin. Add all the drama last season.
I think it could be in play, although I guess the Knicks will try Fournier first.
