Ingles also feels like a classic Mavs move. I don't know how his injury impacts him. With Utah looking like they will be a changed roster, he may look for a change (he was traded at the trade deadline but he was out already). Even if he has lost a step at 34, I could see him having a Batum '20 impact if healthy. I can totally see him making big plays in the second half of a playoff series.
The question is do we have enough role for him and if he is the right fit? Would be a stop gap solution as a 18-20 minute 4, but could provide value.

something like this
Wood/Kleber/Powell center minutes- Powell can take some of the load off Kleber in the regular season as your energizer innings eater. Wood will need to live up to our expectations though.
PF- DFS 30 minutes & Ingles 18
SF- Bullock- 25 minutes and Hardaway 23 minutes
backcourt- Luka, Jalen and Din get the most of the minutes. Maybe Hardaway can get a few or a few for Green.
Those 18-25 minutes-ish needs to be what we need to figure out now. Long term, if Wood is a fit here, that PF is the position where we need to make our big move at imo.
