RE PHX:
I really like the idea of adding bigger wings who can defend and Crowder is my absolute favorite (as well as a desire to roll back the karma of the Dwight Powell deal)
From Dallas this is two distinct deals and from PHX it rolls into one deal creating 2 TE's
As a Non-Taxpaying team: Dallas trades Sterling Brown and Marquis Chriss ($3.9ish million) and receives Saric ($8.5 million/4.5 or so TE) within the $5 million window.
Dallas then trades a 2nd rd pick to PHX for Crowder ($9.721) into the Trade Exception.
IF as F-Gump opines that the Suns need $$ to tackle retaining Ayton, I would hope to pry a 1st out of PHX for the privilege of dumping $14 million, and Dallas could conceivably land both Saric and Crowder + tip.
IF PHX doesn't want to spend a 1st, I would have them send Dallas 2 seconds in the Saric trade and Dallas would get the option of sending the lowest pick back to PHX in the Crowder deal.
Dallas would then have a glut of PF types but with Hardaway returning and limiting Maxi to a role as a 5-out-5 the roster would conceivably be better balanced.
