I was thinking about the draft.  I too will be surprised if we keep the pick.   This draft gets pretty ugly where the Mavs will be picking.  I actually like some guys in the second round.   In the middle to late first you are really looking at several projection guys.   I like some of these guys but they will need time.   I have sort of been coming down on Mark Williams and Walker Kessler with our pick.   Unfortunately in Sam Veccenie latest mock he has both going before the Mavs pick.  Williams looks the part but his production hasn't really matched his potential yet.  But can he be Robert Williams type in time?   Kessler has been fantastic but he projection is a little more tricky.  Can he be a Jokob Poetl in time?  

So what about landing one of these two and then using your picks plus salary for a John Collins type.    Is that enough moving forward considering we will be pick deficient for the foreseeable future?

I assume ATL would want the pick for Collins. They need to find 2 new starters for next season assuming they keep Brunson. Either a 3 or a 4 depending on where you slot Dorian, and a 5.
