I would pass on him as well.   He seems to play best when he has the ball in his hands.    That won't work playing with Luka imo.   It could with Jalen, but I prefer Jalen as the better player.   Plus, I am not sure he is in our closing lineups so I stay patient until I found a player who could finish for me.  

Dinwiddle just feels like one of those guys who puts up solid stats but doesn't impact winning.   Hardaway is hurt and has been disappointing this year.  But between  the two, I stick with the known.

These are my arguments to get him. His contract is lower and year shorter than THJ, last year also not fully guaranteed. He is not injured, so he helps now. He would not cost an asset to bring. He can be used in a trade in the summer as well as THJ, probably easier, as he is owed less money. 

I see him as bench PG, playing something like 20 minutes per game. Not closing.
