Just listened to this. The tweet is extremely misleading. 

The guy basically said Dallas is trying to do anything they can with THJ's contract, so it wouldn't surprise him if they tried to get in on the Grant situation. He didn't say he'd heard they had already done so, nor did he indicate that they had any chance.

He DID speculate that Grant would probably like to play as the second option next to Luka or another star of his ilk.

Thx for clearing that up, I didn’t listen to it myself.

A bit under 6 hours left. 

I‘d happily move on from THJr but I gotta agree with the concerns re the timing.

A) I don’t think he ever played any worse than he did before the injury 
B) He signed for less money than what NO (iirc) offered just a few months ago (terrible look)
C) Assuming he returns to the level of play of the last seasons he should be more valuable later on when his salary comes down 

Maybe he still has some fans around the league but I dont expect much on that front tbqh.
