THJ+Maxi for McCollum+Nance thus works financially, and would save Portland $23mm next year assuming they let Maxi go. As for young talent, Green and Moses could be easily tossed in as cheap assets. For a team like Portland in firesale mode, I think Dallas has more to offer than the author understands.

This actually doesn't work financially until you throw in both of Green and Moses and I would think that a first would be included on our end as well.

I would definitely do this though.

EDIT: Josh Green is actually enough to make the contracts work so you don't necessarily need to add Moses.  Nance also fits into the TPE if the Blazers are trying to shed as much money as possible.  I'm a big proponent of Nance, I'd rather have him AND Maxi but I would think that the Blazers would rather get Maxi if Nance were on his way out to have someone with that skillset on the books for next year.
