I think Orlando would be interested to jump in with expiring Harris, if THJ salary is a problem for Portland. Price would be likely a FRP. So the question is, if Portland is satisfied with something like Harris and Green or would they require more. Desperate New Orleans might be a problematic competitior.

Another wrinkle we might be overlooking is what CJ wants himself. If you're McCollum would you rather go to the bottom dweller Pelicans who seemingly are the place where careers die. Or go to the Mavs who are currently a 5th seed and would really need your scoring?

If CJ says his preference is Dallas then the Mavs might get by on a seemingly weaker package.
