THJ's value is pretty questionable right now. I don't think teams would give anything up for him right now of value, not to say some teams wouldn't want him on their roster. That basically means he is a 'neutral' value player. A team might give you some contracts that expire for THJ but they aren't going to give up anything good.
My feeling is Mavs will just play this thing out at least to the summer and re-evaluate. THJ's defense isn't going to get better but his shooting probably will so his value might be closer to where it was last summer.
If it was up to me I would be interested in just getting his money off the books sooner than later so that I am not paying tax for a mediocre player. My favorite dump trade would be sending him to Orlando for Gary Harris who is having a pretty good year and is expiring. Harris also is a good to great perimeter defender. Magic have Mosley so I think they would be interested in THJ as a decent piece that they could get for nothing basically.
Just a straight dump of THJ for expiring Harris isn't quite enough since were still operating over the cap anyways. However, THJ for Harris + Bamba might be enough value and it does barely work as a salary match for a trade.
