However, as Killer mentioned, I am also more sceptical about Luka-CJ-THJ combination. Not a lot of defense there. I would rather go THJ-Brunson (and whatever salary fillers) for CJ. I doubt Portland would do it, though.
Agree with all of this (including no chance Portland does that second trade).
In the event of this trade, I think THJ has to be your 6th man to spread out the defensive concerns. A starting lineup of Nurk/DFS/Luka/Bullock/CJ would be really good. The offense would be elite and the defense would not be bad either. The bench of Powell/Maxi/THJ/Frank/CJ would be really good as well. I would pull the trigger on this.
