I will be surprised if both DFS and Bullock are on the team next year. I just can't figure out which one is kept and how they improve the roster moving one. I need to watch much more of Bullock to get a real feel for his game. He has been what I expected minus a little worse shooter so far, but it is really early. DFS has gotten off to slow start. IMO both guys would be ideal as high minute bench players. I just don't think you can pay both 10 million a year when you really need a wing who can create. At the same time losing DFS for nothing means losing a productive part while getting nothing in return.
The trouble with finding a trade with DFS is he is in the last year of a very team friendly contract. I can't imagine he would attract much from a team considering he is going to want a contract probably closer to Bullock's this offseason.
I just don't think the best use of resources to keep both. I guess if the Mavs found a do it all PF type player and another guard creator, you could potentially keep both. But finding that type of PF type is really hard.
