While they want to rebound better, I think they won't sacrifice their offense or their setup to get there (ie, I don't think they would only have 1 creator and 2 bigs on the floor).
Right now on the roster they employ 3 bigs (Wood, Maxi, DP). While I like the idea of a player like Hartenstein or Smith, I am coming to see those as very unlikely because of assets to spend, opportunity, and a lack of willingness (imo) to tie up a 4th roster spot there.
If you're right, that's completely unfortunate. GS killed us with a frontcourt of Looney/Green/Wiggins. We could better match with Wood/*PF/Finney-Smith.
*PF = Randle or Collins
By the way, Randle (12th), Wood (9th), and Collins (16th) were both top 20 rebounds per 48 minutes last year.
PG - Luka
SG - Dinwiddie
SF - Finney-Smith
PF - Randle or Collins
C - Wood
Assumption here is that Brunson is used to trade for Randle or Collins.
