Haven't seen enough of KP+Luka this year for me to draw anything from. So far I've liked what KP has done overall. I still think the two can work if KP just dove to the basket off of rolls.
There's a point to the talent level making it easier for Luka to adapt than the role players, but if the talent of the role players are an obstacle then they should be replaced anyways.

The issue is his style creates a ceiling and that ceiling is probably short of what it could be if he adapted his style. There's a lot to like so far the last 3 weeks with what the Mavs have been doing. I don't think Luka's style runs against what the Mavs have been doing as a whole. The team looks revitalized with better defense and are hitting their shots more two things that are independent of Luka's style. The extra ball movement is a plus and I don't think Luka diminishes that when he's out there anyways given the quality of looks he generates.
