Considering that Irving and Harden (trade), Lillard and CJ (trade) and Steph and Klay (not himself yet) are the best backcourt duo's starting the year.  Where would you rank Luka and SD or JB.  CP3 and Booker would probably be first this year.  Conley and Mitchell are pretty good.  I think Luka with either is a top three backcourt.

To take that further, do the Mavs have the best 3 guard combo in the league?

I’m liking Brunson the starter and Dinwiddie the closer. To answer the best 3 guard combo, yes, over the last 6 games. Hope it continues.

Not sure if anyone has listened to the new Lowe podcast with MacMahon, and not trying to rehash the trade, but MacMahon mentioned that he had heard the Mavs/Raps conversation revolves around Dragic and Gary Trent Jr for KP which I found interesting since it was the first I had heard of it.

Wow.  That's better than filler and a protected first.  I remember at the TDL when the Raps trade rumors started, folks were hoping he would be the return.  Glad Din has looked so good.

I have been very surprised at how good Dinwiddie looks. Wish I could say the same thing about Bertans. I don’t have any numbers to go off of, but the 3 guard lineup looks very good on the court.

Nice team pic.   DFS needs to stay away from Boban in those type of pictures.  We need to get Jalen off the back row.   And Dwight is a good looking man!  Is Trey the only one missing?

Interesting article on Dudley. Well connected guy who will help in drawing in talent to the Mavs. He’s a Mark Bartelstein guy and has a strong relationship with Bradley Beal. Dudley says Nico + Kidd was seen as a power move around the NBA. Nico is well respected by players and many teams he’s turned down.

Some Bartelstein players of note: Larry Nance Jr, Joe Ingles, Bobby Portis
