I think that's very, very interesting, if it's really the case.
I know they need more ball-handling - everyone does. And, I know the PG group is the strength of this FA class. But, at what point are you just chasing bad value in the name of (stubborn) fit? When you get down to the Dinwiddie's and Schroder's of the world, I think you might be forcing things a little.
What's interesting to me is why we're pigeonholing ourselves into a PG when it feels like we're really just after someone with just enough play making ability so that Luka has someone to dump the ball off to when being doubled in the playoffs. When I look at it that way then I'm hoping that Fournier is being considered, he's not a true PG but you can't just leave him to double Luka the way you can with THJ/Maxi/DFS because he can put the ball on the ground enough to make you pay. After guys like Lowry and Ball and maybe Powell he seems like the obvious choice to try to pair with Luka, signing Schroder as a plan C or D would make me very sad to be honest.
